Frank Piasta is a seasoned leader in commercial real estate capital markets and development financing. Frank strengthens Durkin’s leadership team and enhances the firm’s capacity to structure complex transactions, pursue strategic growth opportunities, and deliver sustained value to investors and partners.

Frank has collaborated with Durkin for many years, advising on capital strategy and arranging financing for numerous developments across the firm’s portfolio. Before joining Durkin, he spent nearly 11 years at CBRE Capital Markets, where he represented institutional and private clients in sourcing and structuring real estate capital. During his tenure, he executed over $6 billion in transactions across diverse asset classes, including the largest C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing in Texas history for the Monarch Hotel in San Antonio.

Before entering the private sector, Frank served as an infantry officer in the United States Army, leading a platoon in Afghanistan. His distinguished service earned him the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Ranger Tab.

Frank earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale University, where he was a four-year varsity soccer player. He lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Christina, and their two children.
